Fu Jianguo, Chairman of Board of Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, attends the 10th Anniversary Celebration of The Industry and Commerce Association of Macao

The Industry and Commerce Association of Macao celebrated its 10th anniversary at the ballroom of JW Marriott Hotel Macao on the evening of August 30. Fu Jianguo, Chairman of Board of Nam Kwong and President of the Chinese Enterprises Association attended the celebration. Other honorable guests attending and officiating the celebration included Chui Sai On, Chief Executive of Macao SAR, Ho Hau Wah, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Zhang Rongshun, Vice Director of the Central People’s Government Liaison Office in Macao SAR, Shen Beili, Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in Macao SAR, and Kou Hoi In, President of the Legislative Assembly of Macao SAR. Ho King Lun, Director of the Industry and Commerce Association of Macao, and Tai Kin Ip, Director of the Economic Bureau of Macao SAR spoke at the celebration.   

Ho King Lun said that the Industry and Commerce Association of Macao has stayed committed to its vision of “uniting the industry and commerce sectors for a harmonious society”. The Association brings together the people in the industry and commerce sectors and serves as an intermediary between government and the business community. It provides local medium-, small-sized and micro enterprises with comprehensive assistance to help them improve business environment. In response to the SAR government’s call for support to youth development, the Association makes vigorous efforts to help young people start their own businesses. With implementation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Association has shifted its priorities of work to facilitating development in the Greater Bay Area. It also helps local enterprises by strengthening its function as an intermediary and promoting in-depth cooperation and exchange between local medium-, small-sized and micro enterprises and Portuguese speaking countries.
