President Duan Hongyi and V.P. Wang Tongyan Attend the 2019 MIECF Opening Ceremony

On the morning of March 28, the 2019 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2019 MIECF), sponsored by the Macao SAR Government, opened in the Venetian Macao.  Ms. Chan Hoi Fan, Acting Chief Executive of Macao and Secretary for Administration and Justice, and Wang Zhigang, Minister of Science and Technology addressed the opening ceremony. Nam Kwong President Duan Hongyi and Vice-President Wang Tongyan were invited to the opening ceremony and the exhibition. The event lured more than 500 exhibitors from nearly 20 countries and regions.

Themed on "Promoting Ecological Civilization and Green Development", the three-day forum and exhibition shared best practices, policy insights, the latest technology and business opportunities, promoted exchange and cooperation in regional green economy, and accelerated the formation of resource-efficient and eco-friendly spatial layout, industrial structure, means of production and lifestyle, to boost green development. 

Nam Kwong set up an exhibition booth themed on "70 Years of Green Development" by using eco-friendly materials. Covering 198 square meters, the booth was divided into the corporate image display area, interactive area and natural bus presentation area. The booth design was energy and resource efficient and eco-friendly and reflected the pursuit of "green, circular and low-carbon development," which was recognized by the organizing committee with the "eco-friendly booth award".  

Other attendees to the opening ceremony included departmental heads of the head office and executives of subsidiaries of Nam Kwong.
