On January 10th, Macao Customs visited Ka-Ho Oil Terminal to look over the CCTV monitoring system of the dispatching center, learn the security situation of the Oil Terminal in details and have an in-depth exchange with the administrative staff on the security work of the fuel terminal. In recent years, in order to maintain the safety of the oil terminal and Macao coastal defense, Ka-Ho Oil Terminal has improved the security system by installing high-definition CCTV monitoring equipment and setting barbed wire on the enclosure in the storage area, strengthened the docking and inspection of ships, and actively cooperated with the customs to maintain the safety of coastal defense and prevent external invasion.
Macao Customs gave full recognition to the efforts made by Ka-Ho Oil Terminal in port security. Ka-Ho Oil Terminal said it would continue to maintain close contact and communication with the customs and other government departments to jointly raise the awareness of oil tankers berthed at Ka-Ho Oil Terminal of wind prevention, fire prevention, theft prevention and oil pollution prevention and enhance the ability to cope with emergencies.
