Chairman of Board Fu Jianguo and Executive Director & President Duan Hongyi Attended the Conference of Heads of the Central Enterprises and Local SASACs

On January 14 to 15, the Conference of Heads of the Central Enterprises and Local SASACs was held by SASAC of the State Council, which mainly involved work summary, experience exchange and deployment of 2019 key tasks for the full implementation of spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the second and the third Plenary Sessions of the 19th Central Committee, and the Central Economic Working Conference guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Hao Peng, Secretary of the Party Committee of SASAC, delivered a speech. Xiao Yaqing, Director of SASAC, made a work report. Chairman of Board Fu Jianguo and Executive Director & President Duan Hongyi of Nam Kwong (Group) Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

As addressed at the conference, in the face of complicated international environment and the arduous and heavy task of reform, development and stability, SASACs at various levels and central enterprises thoroughly studied and implemented the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, resolutely implemented the decision and deployment of the central committee and the State Council, stayed true to the mission, kept forging ahead, reform and innovation, overcame various difficulties and made remarkable achievements in all the work in 2018 under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi as the core.

As stressed at the conference, the year 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and is a crucial year to build a moderately well-off society in an all-round way and achieve the first centenary goal; therefore, it is of great significance to well implement the reform and development of state-owned enterprises.

The conference called on SASACs at various levels and central enterprises to resolutely implement the decision and deployment of the central committee and the State Council, set a good example in achieving the striving goals of “the two centuries”, promoting high-quality economic development in China and deepening reform of the economic system in 2019.

The conference made it clear that we should ensure to accomplish the targets and tasks of the year, strive for the best results and make positive contributions to the steady growth of the national economy, strengthen risk management and control and independent innovation, develop industry as the main industry, implement reform policies, improve management, and enhance the transformation of regulatory functions.
