Lecture on Safety in Production Held in Nam Kwong Logistics Company Limited

A lecture on safety in production was held on November 14 in Nam Kwong Logistics Company Limited to raise employees’ awareness in safety and implement the main responsibility of enterprises in safety in production. The lecture was given by Huang Haibo, expert from Zhuhai Lecturer Group of Science Popularization and Center for Professional Qualification of Ministry of Transport, First-Level Safety Evaluator, and safety director of China Travel Service (Macao) Limited, with the theme of How to Implement the Main Responsibility of Enterprises in Safety in Production by Analyzing Typical Cases in Zhuhai.

The lecture utilized the Investigation Report on Large Safety in "3.4" Production Accident of Zhuhai Huafeng Paper Factory to demonstrate how to implement the main responsibility of enterprises in safety in production. Huang elaborated on how safety in production covers all the organizations, departments, and positions in enterprises from 10 aspects, including establishment and implementation of the responsibility system for safety in production for all the employees, rules of safety in production and regulations of safe operation, setup of safety in production management institutions or provision of full-time safety management personnel based on regulations, guarantee of investment in safety, organization of safety in production education training and assessment as required, and strengthening security risk management and safety emergency management. Huang warned that safety responsibility could be investigated, and violations of laws and regulations would be to blame.

During the training, the employees have a full discussion on the issue of safety in production, and gave hot reaction. Through learning, the employees learned that safety in production should be transformed from “participation of all” to “responsibility of all”, and responsibility of safety management should be strictly implemented to ensure that the responsibility system of safety in production covers wherever the business extends.
