Chairman Fu Jianguo of Nam Kwong Group leads a delegation to Fujian

During November 26 to 27, Fu Jianguo, President of the Macau Chinese Enterprises Association and Chairman of Nam Kwong Group; Yao Jian, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, led a Macao Economic and Trade Delegation to Fujian for exchanges. They attended the Economic and Trade Exchange between Fujian and Macao and visited outstanding Fujian enterprises. The delegation was consisted of more than 30 people, including representatives from Macao Monetary Authority, Macao Government Tourism Office, and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, and heads of Chinese-funded enterprises, SMEs and chambers of commerce in Macao. Li Zhizhong, Chairman of the Macau Chinese Enterprises Association and Deputy General Manager of Nam Kwong Group also attended the event.

On the morning of November. 26, the Fujian-Macao Economic and Trade Exchange, jointly held by the Macao Chinese Enterprises Association and the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, took place at Fuzhou Yuehua Hotel Conference Center. Fu Jianguo, Yao Jian, and Vice Governor of Fujian Guo Ningning attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The Fujian Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and representatives from nearly 100 enterprises from Macao and Fujian attended the event and carried out heated exchanges on “finance, technology and tourism”.

Fu Jianguo introduced the Macau Chinese Enterprises Association and Chinese-funded enterprises in Macao. He said that the Macau Chinese Enterprises Association and Chinese-funded enterprises in Macao will always adhere to the principle of “based in Macao, building Macao and serving Macao”. Serving as a bridge, the association will continuously expand the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Macao and Fujian. Besides, the association will join hands with Macao enterprises to help build Macao into the world center of tourism and leisure and commercial and trade cooperation service platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, and speed up Macao’s integration into the Belt and Road Initiative. In this way, it will promote the cooperation between Macao and Fujian to a broader range and a higher level and push Macao deeper into the overall development of the China. It will enhance Macao's status and functions in development and opening-up of the Chinese economy and bring new opportunities for Macao's economic development in the future.

At the meeting, Li Zhizhong signed a memorandum of cooperation with Ruan Weixing, President of the Fujian Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export.

On the afternoon of the 26th and on the 27th, the delegation visited Fuzhou Newland Technology Group, Mawei Fund Town and Quanzhou Jiatai CNC Technology Co., Ltd. They exchanged ideas with relevant persons in change and explore cooperation potentials.
