On December 11, Nam Kwong Group participated in the 33rd “Walk for Millions” campaign sponsored by the Macau Daily Readers’ Charity Foundation.
Chairman of Board Xu Kaicheng of Nam Kwong Group and Chief Executive Chui Sai On as well as CPPCC Vice Chairman Edmund Ho jointly hosted the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Chairman Xu also participated in the “Walk for Millions” campaign together with Executive & President Duan Hongyi, Executive & Vice-Prisident Wang Tongyan, Deputy Chief Accountant Wang Yongyi and 650 employees and family members of secondary companies of Nam Kwong Group in Macau.
On the day of the campaign, it was sunny, colorful banners flew, and people danced dragon and lion dances, and played drums to make a hilarious atmosphere. Athletes who had won Olympic Gold took a car to cheer up the walking team. The group’s team started to walk from near the cultural center, reached the tourism tower along the Sun Yat-sen Road, then turned to Xiwan Republic Road, until it reached the Barra Square. Along the way, they appreciated the beautiful scenery of the West Bay Lagoon. The team walked for over one hour, re-taking a section of the “Walk for Millions” several years ago, and re-experiencing the changes of the city of Macau and the never-changing spirit of kindness.
