Hotel Beverly Plaza Won "2014 Macau Eco Hotel" Gold Award

The awarding ceremony of the “Macau Environmental Hotel Award 2014”, hosted by the Macau Environmental Protection Agency and co-organized by the Macau Tourism Bureau, was held on June 11. Hotel Beverly Plaza was awarded the gold prize. This is the first time the hotel has won the Green Hotel Gold Award. Since its establishment in 2007, it’s the first time for a four-star hotel to win the highest-level award.

Hotel Beverly Plaza always adheres to eco-hotel concept, taking “building a green enterprise and achieving sustainable development” as its guiding principle. Meanwhile, it has always strived to upgrade hotel's environmental image and competitiveness. The award is an affirmation of the hotel's environmental protection measures, and it also proves that the hotel takes a leading position among hotels in Macau in terms of environment protection. The other three affiliated hotels of Macau CTS Hotel Management (International) Limited have also passed the silver award review in the “Macau Environmental Hotel” activity. The concept of energy saving, water saving, and waste reduction has run deep into the hotels’ daily environmental behavior. Food Wise Macau Campaign and noise control have also become an important part of hotels’ environment protection. The hotels will stick to sustainable development and make contribution to the environment protection by implementing eco-friendly concept and adhering to the principle of energy-saving and cost-reducing.
